About Us
The Carolina Royals are a competitive spring-only baseball program, offering teams at both the high school and middle school level.  We are a top choice for homeschool players, and an alternative for public and private school athletes in North and South Carolina.  In accordance with our mission, we exist to provide a high quality program where student athletes can grow, both on and off the field.  To that end, players will be expected to work hard, maintain quality attitudes, and respect coaches and teammates. Knowing that our players desire to play at the college level, we want a focus on both personal and team growth, and an atmosphere that builds each other up for the good of all. However, the program itself will require a commitment from the player to push himself  both physically and mentally to be the best athlete he can be. It is only our second season and we already have 9 players either playing college baseball or committed to play. Check out our commitments here Commitments

In order to equip our players with the skills needed to play at the next level, the Royals players will have the opportunity
to train in the off season with a select D1 Sports Trainer, working on speed, agility and strength.

Leadership

The Carolina Royals are led by a volunteer board of directors.

Teams

After a successful inaugural season we are growing in 2017. We are planning to have a Varsity, JV and middle school team. We allow both home schoolers and non-home schoolers.

Fundraising

The Carolina Royals will be a 501(c)(3) corporation, which means any donations from family or friends to help cover player fees, will be tax deductible.

Uniforms

Uniforms, including hats, will be made available for sizing at our tryouts.  Your player may request a specific number, and we will do our best to accommodate that request.

Travel

The board expects the schedule to include Saturday double headers that may require travel.  Generally, we would strive for these to be within two hours of Charlotte, avoiding a hotel stay.  However, we may schedule occasional weekend tournaments requiring an overnight stay.  These would be in the Carolinas, most likely in the Raleigh-Durham, Orlando or Myrtle Beach areas.   We hope to participate in 1-2 large tournaments at the end of our season, which could require travel to Florida.

Code of Conduct

We have a written code of conduct that players and staff will be expected to sign and adhere to.  In general, we expect anyone associated with the Royals organization, including parents, to conduct themselves in a moral, respectful, God-honoring manner.
